Provides information on preventative dental health practicesConducts yearly surveys of school children's dental requirements to enhance existing programs and to determine gapsOffers a dental screening program in schoolsProvides assistance in finding a dentist, filling out forms etc, for individuals who qualify for free dental servicesOffers the following programs that may qualify people for free dental services:- Children's Oral Health Initiative (COHI)
- Green Door Project
- Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO)
- Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program (OSDCP)

- Children's Oral Health Initiative (COHI): First Nations children aged 0-7 years old and their parents/caregivers
- Green Door Project: Emergency dental services for people aged 18-64 years of age who have no other form of dental coverage
- Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO): Children 0-17 years of age
- Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program (OSDCP): Low-income seniors 65 years of age and older
