Support Group: Last Wed of the month 7 pm-9 pm, Manor House
Service Description:
  • Offers a social and recreational day program for older adults who have Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia
  • Provides therapeutic activities which are designed to maintain an optimal level of independent functioning in the community as long as possible
  • Provides respite service for caregivers
  • Provides the following additional services to registered clients:
    • Support and counseling
    • Caregiver support meetings
    • In-home assessments
    • Equipment loan cupboard
    • Assistance to access other support services
    • Strategies for home management
    • Minor health monitoring

    Eligibility / Target Population:
    • Must be diagnosed as having Alzheimer disease or related dementia

    • Must be living in the community, not an institution
