Service Description: Provides various community accommodation services and supports to adults with a developmental disability
Supported Independent Living
  • Provides support in a residential setting where 1 or more individuals live together, independently of family members or a caregiver
  • Provides support for activities of daily living including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, administration of medication, and includes training related to money management, banking, using public transportation and other life skills

Intensive Support Residences
  • Provides staffing support in a residential setting where 1-2 individuals live together and receive intensive support
  • Provides support for activities of daily living including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, administration of medication, and includes training related to money management, banking, using public transportation and other life skills
  • Offers support for participation in community activities
  • Provides specialized behaviour management and/or medical supports as defined and prescribed by clinical staff

Group Living
  • Provides 24 hour support in a residential setting where 3 or more individuals live together and receive support based on Individual Support Plans
  • Provides support for activities of daily living including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, administration of medication, and includes training related to money management, banking, using public transportation and other life skills
  • Offers support for participation in community activities

Family Home Program
  • Screens, recruits and contracts with host families to provide accommodation and supports for activities of daily living
  • Provides training and case management to host families
  • Offers support to develop, review and implement an Individual Support Plan
  • Provides support for maintaining personal relationships and family connections, as wanted by the individual
  • Promotes the health and safety of individuals residing with a host family
