Promotes reduction of harm for drug users- Provides sterile needles and clean drug preparation equipment
- Provides safe disposal of used needles and equipment
- Supplies free condoms
- Provides Hepatitis A and B vaccinations
- Provides safe inhalation kits
- Gives referrals to counselling, methadone and rehabilitation services
- Provides education on safer injecting practices and overdose prevention
- Raises public awareness of health options for drug users
