The program runs during the school year from Sep-Jun Monetary donations are accepted through the website; donor can select the community of Thunder Bay to which their donation will be forwarded The program relies on volunteers to help fill the bags. Service Description:

Supports children and families who do not have enough food to eat

Provides children with a bag of food to take home to their families on the weekend

Partners with Our Kids Count and the Regional Food Distribution Association to provide food to children and families in Thunder Bay schools

Selected children from Thunder Bay schools will be sent home a letter informing parents of the program
