Service Description: Serves as a non-political Chiefs Council which provides advisory and support services to six First Nation communities
  • Provides governance, political support and advocacy to Keewaytinook Okimakanak First Nations in their quest to build self-sufficient communities
  • Promotes Indigenous recognition and cultural awareness of the member First Nations
  • Consists of Chiefs and representatives from each community
  • Delivers programs and services through local community government
  • Operates various First Nation owned for-profit corporations
Provides technical and professional advisory services and programs in the following areas:
  • Financial Advisory Services
  • Health Services
  • Health Services, Crisis Intervention
  • Keewaytinook Centre of Excellence
  • Keewaytinook Internet High School
  • Keewaytinook Okimakanak Secondary School Services
  • KORI, Research Institute
  • Telecommunications, Kuhkenah Network (K-Net)
  • Public Works Unit
  • Telemedicine
