Service Description: Operates an Aboriginal Head Start program to prepare young children for school years
  • Promotes family involvement in all aspects of the program
  • Offers activities such as arts and crafts, breakfast and circle time and a pre-school library
  • Participates in community events and special celebrations
Offers daily programs focused on:
  • Education and school readiness
  • Health promotion
  • Native culture and language
  • Nutrition
  • Parental and family involvement
  • Social support
Services offered are:
  • Aboriginal language and culture
  • Dental screening and fluoride treatments
  • Developmental assessments
  • Hot meals and snacks daily
  • Parent workshops
