Service Description:
  • Provides non-perishable food items to individuals in an emergency situation
  • Includes fresh milk, eggs and bread with each hamper
  • Offers fresh or frozen meat products which are usually available and fresh produce when in-season
  • Donations of non-perishable food items and/or cash accepted at main office
  • Receipts issued for cash donations
  • Participates as a member of the Regional Food Distribution Association (RFDA) of Northwestern Ontario

    Application:
    • Registration required

    • Order must be placed via phone with the Food Bank in the morning (between 9 am-11:30 am)

    • Pick-up available in the afternoon (between 12:00 noon and 3 pm)

    • For individuals with no phone access, walk up hamper requests are accepted; knock on the door
