Responsible for the day to day operations of the First Nation but does not have band status yet- Child and Family Services worker on-reserve provided through Tikinagan Child and Family Services in Sioux Lookout
- Hospital services available at Meno Ya Win Health Centre in Sioux Lookout
- Ontario First Nation Policing arrangements through Nishnawbe-Aski Police Services, Sandy Lake Detachment; local ph: 807-774-4471; fax: 807-774-4143
