Cancer and Tumour Support Groups and Organizations - North West

Tumours are groups of abnormal cells that form lumps or growths. Tumours grow and behave differently, depending on whether they are cancerous (malignant), non-cancerous (benign) or precancerous. Cancer is a group of abnormal cells that usually starts as a tumour and spreads to other parts of the body.

Support groups, associations, and foundations provide information and support to those living with cancer or tumours and their families/caregivers.

Ontario is taking the next steps in its plan to better integrate the province’s health care system to help end hallway health care

You will continue to have access to the care you need and the health care providers you have built relationships with. Home care continues as before and there are no changes to long-term care home placement.

Patient services and contacts will remain unchanged until further notice.
