Health Insurance Plans - North West

For eligible individuals, the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) covers the cost of a wide range of essential health care services. Other government health insurance programs are available for specific groups, such as Indigenous peoples, refugees, members serving in the Canadian Forces, and people with low incomes.

COVID-19 Testing Locations

Anyone who needs a test can get one and does not need an OHIP card. Tests are available by appointment only at assessment centres and at pharmacies.

You will continue to have access to the care you need and the health care providers you have built relationships with. Home care continues as before and there are no changes to long-term care home placement.
