Service Description: Investigates the possible causes of a stroke or TIA (mini stroke) and assists with strategies to prevent an occurrence or reoccurrence of symptoms

Key activities, conducted in individual or group formats are:
  • Blood pressure monitoring
  • Education and counselling
  • Lifestyle modification
  • Lipid management
  • Risk factor management

Fees: Service - Fees for uninsured Canadians and out-of-country residents * None
  • Must have a valid Ontario Hospital Insurance Plan (OHIP) card or other Provincial Health Insurance
  • Appointment required
Eligibility / Target Population: Individuals in an emergency or life-threatening situation who require immediate medical attention
