Service Description: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Animbiigoo Zaagi'igan Anishinaabek First Nation

Band office located on Main St in Beardmore near Hwy 11

Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the First Nation
  • Administers all services through the Band Office and Health Office in town of Beardmore; reserve landbase is on Partridge Lake (created and finalized in May 2008)and is currently under development as the eventual home for community members
  • Established the first building, a community pavilion and picnic shelter. on reserve land in summer of 2013
  • Maintains the Auden Ombabika Cemetery located in the now-abandoned village of Auden, near Beardmore, where most older community members grew up
  • Hosts an annual Christmas party and celebrates National Aboriginal Day
  • Organizes a 3-day Annual Elders Gathering at Partridge Lake
