Service Description: A national community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.

  • Funds research for all types of cancer
  • Offers information on cancer risk, prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and supportive care
  • Provides support for people living with cancer, family members and friends
  • Connects individuals with a survivor or caregiver to discuss what it's like to live with cancer
  • Provides transportation assistance to and from cancer related appointments
  • Loans wigs and/or turbans free of charge to cancer patients
  • Provides support from a trained quit smoking specialist
