Service Description: Located at Park St in the Kenora Government of Canada building

Provides community health services and assistance with non-insured health benefits to eligible First Nation and Inuit people

Community Health Services: Prevention programs intended to improve the health and well being of First Nation peoples are available on the following topics:
  • Communicable disease control
  • Maternal and child health care programs
  • Chronic disease monitoring
  • Care of the elderly
  • School health programs
  • Environmental health

Non-Insured Health Benefits :Provides assistance with accessing and making arrangements for extended health benefits, including:
  • Dental care
  • Medical transportation
  • Medical equipment
  • Medications
  • Mental health counselling
  • Short-term crisis intervention
  • Vision care



Fees: None
Application: Health Centre operates on a walk-in basis
Most services are accessed on-reserve through visiting health professionals
Eligibility / Target Population: Must be a registered Inuit and/or First Nation individual and reside in or adjacent to one of the communities served by the Kenora Health Centre
