Service Description: Provides a wide range of community-based and culturally appropriate programs and services to Indigenous peoples residing in, or migrating to, the city

  • Assists Indigenous individuals prepare for, obtain, and keep jobs
  • Offers employment and training programs
  • Matches eligible clients with employers
  • Provides employment and training opportunities to Indigenous clients who are not eligible through First Nation, Inuit, or Métis agreements
  • Provides financial assistance for a variety of programs that can include but is not limited to apprenticeship skills training, career experience/job shadowing, employment supports, income supports, purchase of training and skills enhancement
