Service Description: Provides programs and services to improve the quality of life for urban Indigenous people with a focus on social, educational and cultural development

  • Supports urban Indigenous youth to achieve success based on self-determination and cultural reclamation
  • Provides supports that promote mental health
  • Facilitates access to Elders and Traditional Knowledge Holders
  • Offers programs that include cultural teachings, traditional medicines, food education and language retention
  • Services may include:
    • Individualized services and peer counselling
    • Plan of care and case management if required
    • Youth culture camps with access to water/land based activities
    • Sharing circles, storytelling and peer based activities
