Provides a wide range of community-based and culturally appropriate programs and services to Indigenous peoples residing in or migrating to the city
Prepares a report that provides systemic background factors and life circumstances of an Indigenous offender to the court at sentencingProvides culturally appropriate recommendations for sentencing alternatives to custodyOffers Gladue Aftercare to support the development of the recommendationsOffers an anger management programAssists, supports, and advocates on behalf of the offender to follow through with the recommendations

- Gladue Report Request Form is available on the website

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
- Indigenous individuals who have pled guilty or are found guilty after trial
- Must consent to the report
- Must be residents of Thunder Bay
- Priority is given to Indigenous women and to clients facing six months or more in custody
