Service Description:

Provides a wide range of community-based and culturally appropriate programs and services to Indigenous peoples residing in or migrating to the city
Provides a specialized court focused on a holistic way of dealing with Indigenous people in the court system and a focus on healingUtilizes a restorative justice circle approach with a Judge, Elders and the offender (and their supports), lawyers and in some cases the victim and their supports where the offender shares their storyRuling is made by the Judge, recommendations are given by the Elders and follow-up support provided by court workers
