Service Description:

Functions as a volunteer based community organization providing compassionate companionship to individuals and their families as they respond to end of life challenges
Hospice Northwest provides support to those who are living with or dying from illness or disease, and also provides grief and bereavement support to both adults and children for those who have lost a loved one through various support programs
Provides 1:1 Volunteer Palliative support to anyone who has a life limiting illness. This support can be received in all care settings, including individuals homes, hospitals, LTC. etc. Volunteers can provide support with shopping, attending appointments, outings in the community, social interaction, compassionate listening, advocacy, relief for caregivers and bedside support.
