Service Description:
|
Serves as a non-political Chiefs Council which provides support and advisory services to six First Nation communities
Enhances member community's management and administration by delivering financial, management and governance advisory services- Addresses financial and personnel management by providing capacity development to local managers, administration staff, schools, health centers and nursing stations
- Provides support for preparation of funding proposals for various community initiatives
- Maintains resources on management practices, policies and procedures and governance codes, available for community use upon request
- Provides accounting support for the Northern Chiefs Council
Provides advisory services for community finance personnel in following areas:- Audit preparation
- Computerized accounting and bookkeeping
- Financial planning
- Internal reporting and payroll
- Policy development
