Service Description: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Wabauskang First Nation

  • Offers a variety of programming to support expecting parents, youth, and families with young children
  • Hosts group activities and community events to promote wellness
  • Provides coordination services at summer day camps in community
  • Coordinates workshops and activities including but not limited to the following areas:
    • Child development
    • Healthy pregnancies
    • Individual and family health
    • Parenting skills and family planning
    • Parent resource assistance and referrals
    • Parent support programs

    • Expecting parents and families with children under 6 years of age
