Provides a variety of rehabilitation services, mental health and addiction services, and long-term care services
Provides a program for care partners to help them strengthen their caregiving knowledge and skillsHelps care partners manage the day-to-day care of an individual living with dementia, reduce stress and burden, and improve their ability to cope with the demands of caregivingCARERS (Coaching, Advocacy, Respite, Education, Relationship, Simulation)- Offers an eight week, skills-based group that teaches practical skills and problem solving techniques needed to care for someone living with dementia
- Teaches communication skills through the use of simulation
- Offers emotional support
TEACH (Training, Education and Assistance for Caregiving at Home)- Offers a four week, interactive group that allows care partners to share and learn from other care partners
- Provides practical communication and coping skills
- Focuses on self-care, navigating the healthcare system, relationship changes, and future planning
