Service Description: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Wabaseemoong Independent Nation

  • Offers a drop-in centre as well as a variety of planned activities and programs for community children and youth
  • Provides a 24-hour youth crisis response line
  • Activities, services and programs include but are not limited to:
    • After school drop-in
    • Day camps
    • Family support program
    • Fitness centre
    • Mental health counselling and support
    • Youth in transition program for youth transitioning out of foster care
    • Youth mentorship

    • Drop-in basis for children and youth to attend centre

    • Registration required for specific programs

    Eligibility / Target Population: Focus is for child and youth members of Wabaseemoong (Whitedog) Independent Nations but families welcome
