Service Description: An organization that provides supports and programs for Indigenous women and their families

  • Operates a community-based food purchasing system that makes fresh fruits and vegetables available to community members for a reasonable price
  • Offers a variety of fruit and vegetables such as carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, onions, potatoes, tomatoes, strawberries and apples (contents vary by season)
  • Note: There is currently only one size of box that contains 9-11 different items

    Fees: $22/box

    • Call or email for ordering procedure

    • Payment required upon ordering

    • Order deadline is the Mon of the week prior to pickup

    • Pick up is usually the third Wed of the month, unless a holiday falls within the same week

    • Bring reusable bags when picking up

    • Delivery not available
    Eligibility / Target Population: Open to all but is primarily for individuals on a fixed or low income or who face barriers to accessing fresh food (mobility or financial barriers)
