Service Description: Provides programs and services to meet the needs of individuals of all ages with an intellectual and/or developmental disability

  • Develops a respite support plan with families of individuals caring for a loved one with intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • Offers families temporary relief from physical and emotional demands of caring for the family member
  • Endeavours to assist families to develop an inter-dependency between families, friends, neighbours and the community

  • Fees: None
    Application: Call to make arrangements for completing application and developing a respite plan
    Eligibility / Target Population: Families and primary caregivers of individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities who are living at home
