Service Description: Provides programs and services to meet the needs of individuals of all ages with an intellectual and/or developmental disability

Enriched Supported Independent Living (ESIL)
  • Offers support services in an individual's own home for those who do not require 24 hour support
  • Supports vary with each person and can include budgeting, attending medical appointments, daily meal preparation, housekeeping and developing relationships
Intensive Supported Independent Living (ISIL)
  • Uses the "Housing First" model for individuals with significant barriers to housing
  • Provides supports for individuals who have difficulty securing and maintaining housing
Outreach Supported Independent Living (OSIL)
  • Provides case management for individuals with complex needs including an intellectual disability, serious mental illness, and addiction
  • Supports individuals with the transition from youth to adulthood

Application:
  • Initial application required through Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) (1-855-376-6673)

  • Supports are available from 2-24 hours per day, 7 days per week
Eligibility / Target Population: Individuals 18 years of age and older with an intellectual/developmental disability
