Service Description:
|
Provides programs and services to meet the needs of individuals of all ages with an intellectual and/or developmental disability
Operates a licensed daycare that offers inclusive education to meet individual needs and development- Offers age appropriate structured and unstructured activities including outdoor playtime
- Provides a hot daily lunch and two snacks
- Guides children to develop empathy towards themselves and others, self-management skills, self-control and a sense of responsibility
Administers programs at the following locations:- Kid's Zone Lakeside
- Kid's Zone SMB at Ecole Ste Margueite Bourgeouys
- Zone at St John Paul II School

Fees:

Program; Fee assistance available for Subsidized childcare; assistance is provided by Ontario Works (OW) or Kenora District Services Board (KDSB)

Application:

- Requires completed registration package; forms available at office
- Must submit copy of child's immunization record
- Requires signed contract on a committal basis; charges apply to all the days committed to
- Allows for 3 sick days at no charge provided the Centre is notified by 8:30 am the morning the child is sick

Eligibility / Target Population:

- Infant Care: Birth to 18 months
- Toddlers: 18 months - 2.5 years
- Preschool: 2.5 years - 4 years of age
- School-aged: 4 years - 12 years
