Service Description: To provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with an intellectual disability in the district of Northern Ontario

  • Empowers individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition
  • Offers children and adult athletes year-round training and competition in many Olympic-type sports at Invitational and Regional meets
  • Sports offered vary with locations but can include:
    • Basketball
    • Bowling (5 and 10-pin)
    • Floor Hockey
    • Power lifting
    • Swimming
    • Soccer
    • Softball
    • Track and Field
    • Alpine Skiing
    • Curling
    • Figure Skating
    • Nordic Skiing
    • Snowshoeing
    • Speed Skating
    Offers opportunities for volunteering within all sports offered
