Service Description: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Ginoogaming First Nation

Operates a licensed nursery school and offers programs to prepare young children for school years
  • Offers activities such as family gym time, arts and crafts, breakfast and circle time, school readiness programs and a pre-school library
  • Administers the Junior Kindergarten program for community
  • Participates in community events and special celebrations
Offers daily programs focused on:
  • Education
  • Health and nutrition
  • Native culture and language
  • Parental and family involvement
  • Social support
Offers full and half-day programs for following age groups:

Application: Requires the following:

  • Completed registration application

  • Child's birth certificate and updated immunization record


Junior Kindergarten Program

  • Enrollment package available at office; assistance provided for completion of forms either at centre or through home visit
Eligibility / Target Population: Members of Ginoogaming First Nation

  • Infants: 6 months -18 months

  • Toddlers: 18 months - 30 months

  • Preschool: 2.5 years - 4 years

  • Junior Kindergarten: 4 years - 6 years

  • School Age: 6 years - 12 years
