Service Description:

Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Fort William First Nation- Tribal Council: Nokiiwin Tribal Council (NTC)
- Political Territorial
Organization: Union of Ontario Indians (UOI)Robinson-Superior Treaty
Provides employment related support and training initiatives for community members
Offers the following services:- Assessments of skills and experience
- Information about a variety of careers and occupations
- Local labour market, employment and training opportunities
- Information and referrals to other community support and services
- Assistance with resume writing, computer and internet use, fax and photo copy
- Assistance in developing effective job search strategies and resume preparation
- Advice for preparing for interviews and employment
Programs offered may include:- Disability supports
- Entrepreneurial development
- Mobility and employment start-up assistance
- Purchase of training
- Wage subsidy
- Youth work experience program
