  • Addresses public health issues and promotes healthy living
  • Administers health promotion and disease prevention programs within the Kenora and Rainy River Districts


  • Offers information, education, programs, services and supports for expectant parents and families with young children
    Provides programs under the following topics:
    • Baby wellness clinics
    • Breastfeeding and infant feeding
    • Parent education and support groups such as New Baby Gatherings, Make the Connection, Introducing Baby to Solid Foods/Baby Food Making
    • Postpartum support services
    • Support for new parents including growth and development, healthy pregnancies, positive parenting etc
