Provides mobile basic, advanced, and diabetic nursing foot care services
Mobile basic, advanced, and diabetic nursing foot care services provided by a Registered Practical Nurse in Thunder Bay District- Foot care is provided in private residences, apartments, long term care facilities, and remote homes outside of Thunder Bay
Services include:- Nursing foot care assessment
- Foot cleaning
- Trimming and Filing of toenails and fingernails
- Reduction of thickened nails
- Ingrown nail care
- Foot callus, and corn reduction
- Foot rubs
- Health teaching
- Recommendations to other health care professionals and services as needed
