A non-profit charity that promotes healthy lifestyles in an effort to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease throughout Northwestern Ontario
Offers a brief health presentation on a health topic by a physician who then leads participants on a social walk (various locations)Aims to help participants maintain healthy and active lifestyles
Walk with Doc- Online campaign during the month of June to encourage everyone to become or stay active
- Walk schedule posted on website
- No registration required - self-screen and wear mask when gathered together before walk begins
- Virtual Walk: participants can comment and post pictures featuring the walk they went on over virtual platforms (email and Facebook)
