Service Description: Responsible for providing wholistic health programs and services for Indigenous people in the Rainy River District

  • Provides culturally appropriate supports for victims and survivors of human trafficking
  • Develops and delivers anti-human trafficking training workshops to service providers
  • Acts as the voice for an Anti-Human Trafficking Committee comprised of various service providers in the Rainy River District
  • Supports and services for victims and survivors of anti-human trafficking include:
    • One-on-one support as needed
    • Counselling
    • Harm reduction services
    • Mental health support
    • Referrals to community services

    Eligibility / Target Population: Individuals from any of the 10 First Nation communities in the Fort Frances Tribal Area who are victims and/or survivors of human trafficking
