Service Description: Loans gently used mobility and home care equipment to community members

Provides gently used mobility and home care equipment to community members free of charge that can include but is not limited to:
  • Bath safety bars
  • Canes
  • Commodes
  • Crutches
  • Raised toilet seats
  • Reachers
  • ROHO cushions
  • Shower seats
  • Transfer chairs
  • Walkers (rollators, standard walkers, 2-wheel walkers, walker baskets and knee walkers)
  • Wheelchairs (with swing away foot rests)
  • Other specialty equipment
Gratefully accepts donations of gently used mobility and home care equipment and monetary donations; receipts issued for donations over $20

Fees: None; Donations of any amount accepted
Application:
  • Call or use contact page on website to reserve equipment and make arrangements for pick-up/drop-off

  • Refundable deposit required on all equipment; deposit returned after equipment inspection
Eligibility / Target Population:
  • Community members in need of mobility and/or home care equipment on a temporary basis

  • Borrowing time can range from a weekend to several months during rehabilitation/convalescing periods
