Service Description:
|
Coordinates the delivery of health care services to the Anishinabe people across the Sioux Lookout region
Coordinates the Mashkikiiwininiwag Mazinaatesjigan Wichiiwewin (MMW) program for adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities- Provides enhanced access to clinical services and resources for Northern Ontario First Nation communities
- Allows individuals and families to receive treatment, resources and information without having to travel outside their own community
- Assessments are offered at home, school, community and/or by video conference/telehealth
Services provided may include:
- Intake - Service coordination
- Psychological assessment and consultation
- Counselling
- Behaviour therapy assessment and consultation
- Psychiatric assessment and consultation
- Educational opportunities
