Service Description: Governed by an elected council of 13 members: the Mayor, 5 Councillors-at-Large and 7 Ward Councillors, municipal elections are held every 4 years

  • Plays a lead role in establishing relationships within the City of Thunder Bay's growing urban Indigenous community
  • Liaises with organizations, agencies and groups representing and serving the Indigenous community and the City of Thunder Bay
  • Works within the Corporation to raise awareness and understanding of the cultural protocols and sensitivities involved in engaging with and serving the Indigenous community
