Service Description: Serves as a non-political Chiefs Council which provides support and advisory services to nine First Nation communities

  • Provides advisory services to member First Nations in their administrative duties and decision making processes
  • Provides assistance in the issuance of Certificate of Indian Status cards and maintaining an Indian Registry system
  • Assists in obtaining and examining documentation related to Indian registry such as birth, death, marriage, divorce and other certificates
  • Provides various related forms on the website and in office
  • Provides administrative duties for Bimose Tribal Council

    Application: Services are delivered at the local level (Band Office)
    Eligibility / Target Population: Must belong to one of the member First Nations in the Bimose Tribal Council territory
