Service Description:

Oversees the administration and operation of all municipal departments and services for the town of Rainy River
Responsible for the maintenance and operation of municipal infrastructure
Roads and Transportation
- Maintains and repairs local roads, curbs, sidewalks and ditches
- Responsible for snow removal, sanding and salting roadways and sidewalks
- Responsible for street lighting and town signage
Sewer and Wastewater
- Provides and maintains sewer and wastewater services
- Operates a water treatment plant
Waste and Recycling Management (Landfill)
- Responsible for regular collection of solid waste
- Collection schedule is posted online
- Recyclables may be dropped off in bins located in yard of Public Works garage
