Service Description:
|
Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Iskatewizaagegan #39 Independent First Nation also known as Shoal Lake 39 First Nation Tribal Council (BTC)Political Territorial Organization: Grand Council Treaty #3 (GCT3)Treaty #3
Oversees the operations and maintenance of community infrastructure and related servicesMaintains a public works garagePerforms a variety of tasks and maintenance operations including:- Road maintenance
- Landscaping and community beautification
- Street lighting
- Maintenance of equipment and operation of the water treatment and waste water treatment plants
- Repairs and upkeep of community buildings and residential band housing
- Snow removal
- Upkeep of public spaces and grounds
- Maintenance of on-reserve landfill site
Capital Planning- Provides assistance in project management services and community development and planning
