Service Description:

Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Fort William First Nation

Tribal Council: Nokiiwin Tribal Council (NTC)
Political Territorial Organization: Union of Ontario Indians (UOI)
Robinson-Superior Treaty

Oversees the operations and maintenance of community infrastructure and related services

Maintains a public works garage

Oversees the aggregate site and crushing operation

Performs a variety of tasks and maintenance operations including:

Road maintenance
Landscaping and community beautification
Street lighting
Maintenance of equipment and operation of the water treatment and sewage treatment plants
Repairs and upkeep of community buildings and residential homes
Snow removal
Garbage collection and maintenance of on-reserve landfill site

Capital Planning

Provides assistance in project management services and community development and planning
