Service Description: An organization that provides cultural and spiritual services (ceremonies and gathering), promotes inclusivity, and facilitates self discovery and self healing

  • Provides Indigenous Worldview Training (cultural sensitivity) entitled One Tribe in a factual and interactive way
  • Inspires self discovery and self healing within individuals
  • Provides an environment for individuals from all cultures and walks of life to:
    • Gather
    • Share Anishnaabe culture and language
    • Learn traditional teachings and the Spiritual Laws
    • Earn certificates for workshop participation
    Professional workshops are tailored to specific needs and can include but are not limited to:
    • Anishinaabe Cultural Practices
    • Cultural Demonstrations - smudging, sacred items, sharing circle, drumming circle
    • Economic and Holistic Benefits of Working with the Indigenous Community
    • Improving Diversity Consciousness
    • Introduction to the Indigenous Community
    • Land Use Planning Then and Now
    • Lateral Violence in the Workplace
    • Medicine Walk (plant identification, harvesting and uses)
    • Overview of Ancient First Peoples and Archaeology in Northern Ontario
    • Relationship Building Principles with First nations
    • Residential School System and Unfamiliar Impacts
    • Team Building (through the Sharing Circle)
    • Treaties: Before, During, After, Now

    Fees: Program - Cultural awareness training sessions; Workshops ; Fee schedule available online or call office
