Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Eabametoong First Nation

Responsible for planning, developing and implementing all social, recreational and special events for members of the communityProvides various activities such as arts and crafts, baking nights, movie nights and outdoor sports eventsOrganizes and supervises various outdoor activities for youth during summer months such as baseball, football and soccerCoordinates a hockey program during the winter months at the Joseph Jacob Nate Memorial Arena; has an 8-team hockey leagueOffers boys and men's hockey tournaments and men's/women's broomball tournamentsCoordinates summertime concerts at the natural ice arenaRecreation events, services and facilities include:- Beach, at east end of community
