Service Description: Serves as a non-political Chiefs Council which provides support and advisory services to five First Nation communities

Provides support and guidance for the effective delivery and management of health and related programs and services to member First Nation communities
  • Works to develop infrastructure and human resources at the community level for the delivery of the programs
  • Provides advice and support to front-line health workers within each community including proposal writing, program development, administration and training and professional development
  • Facilitates networking with external health bodies
  • Assists communities in accessing funding and training opportunities
  • Provides representation on various health committees
  • Assists with crisis intervention services

Application: Services are delivered to community members at the local level (Health Centres and Clinics)
Eligibility / Target Population: Must belong to one of the member First Nations within the Independent First Nations Alliance (IFNA)
