Service Description:

Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Neskantaga First Nation- Tribal Council: Matawa First Nations Management
- Political Territorial
Organization: Nishnawbe-Aski Nation (NAN)Treaty #9
Oversees the operations and maintenance of community infrastructure and related services
Performs a variety of tasks and maintenance operations including:- Road maintenance
- Landscaping and community beautification
- Street lighting
- Maintenance of equipment and operation of the water treatment plant when running; community has been on the longest standing boil water advisory for over 22 years as of 2016
- Repairs and upkeep of community buildings and residential homes
- Snow removal
- Upkeep of public spaces and grounds
- Garbage collection and maintenance of landfill site
Capital Planning- Provides assistance in project management services and community development and planning
