Service Description:
|
Responsible for administration, finances and operation of the municpality and all related departments
Oversees the operations and maintenance of municipal infrastructure and related services
Roads and Transportation
- Maintains and repairs local roads, curbs, sidewalks and ditches
- Responsible for snow removal, sanding and salting roadways and sidewalks
- Responsible for street lighting and traffic signals
Sewer and Water
- Responsible for municipal water distribution system
- Operates a water treatment plant
- Does not provide municipal sewer systems; residents responsible for providing own septic fields
Waste and Recycling Management (Landfill)
- Provides and operates supervised landfill sites for residents and business owners to dispose of garbage
- Provides bins at landfills for collection of recyclable items
- Provides list of acceptable recyclable items on website and in local newspaper
