- Works to address the root causes of substance use/addiction and the harms associated with it
- Provides information on family violence, strategies to stop it and healthy relationships
- Facilitates group talking circles
- Offers individual peer counselling
- Provides advocacy between individual and organizations and agencies
- Hosts traditional gatherings including traditional teachings and feasts
- Provides referrals to needed community supports and services
