Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Iskatewizaagegan #39 Independent First Nation also known as Shoal Lake 39 First Nation Tribal Council (BTC)Political Territorial Organization: Grand Council Treaty #3 (GCT3)Treaty #3
Provides various health benefits to individuals and families with high health costs Benefits are determined based on need and may include:- basic dental care
- diabetic supplies
- eyeglasses
- hearing aids
- prescription drugs
- surgical supplies and dressings
- transportation for medical appointments

Eligibility / Target Population:

Members of Iskatewizaagegan #39 Independent First Nation between 16-65 years of age
Individuals and families who:
- were eligible for Ontario Works in the previous months, or
- are no longer eligible for Ontario Works because they received a payment for loss of income under the 1986-1990 Hepatitis C Settlement Agreement
