Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Shoal Lake 40 First Nation- Tribal Council: Bimose Tribal Council (BTC)

Offers programs and services to promote healthy individuals, families and communities and addresses family violence- Provides information on family violence, strategies to stop it and healthy relationships
- Facilitates group talking circles
- Offers individual peer counselling
- Provides advocacy between individual and organizations and agencies
- Hosts traditional gatherings including traditional teachings and feasts
- Provides referrals to needed community supports and services
